Chris Rushing is a decorated U.S. Army veteran whose career has spanned front-line combat engineering to the subtle art of intelligence gathering. As a combat engineer, he served with distinction during the Iraq War, earning commendations for his leadership in high-pressure situations. Following his tours in theater, Chris earned his certification as a firefighter and EMT, and later served in civilian law enforcement before returning to the Army as an intelligence operator. Armed with his degree in Criminal Justice /Forensic Science, Chris has spent the past fifteen years applying rigorous investigative techniques to the unexplained. From haunted historic sites and UFO sightings to cryptid reports and religious phenomena, he combines field-tested methodology with a forensic mindset to separate fact from folklore. His unique blend of tactical experience, scientific training, and curiosity has made him a sought-after consultant for paranormal research teams and documentary filmmakers alike. When he’s not chasing shadows or combing through report logs, Chris enjoys exploring the backroads of North Carolina with his wife and best friend, Tracy Rushing, to whom he’s been happily married for eleven years. Together, they share a passion for adventure, and discovery.
